Expert Advice Print Version Q. How can I get my activities done when I am in this much pain? A. If your pain is keeping you from getting your activities done, you may need to re-organize your tasks to include rest periods. Take breaks frequently. Find comfortable positions in which to relax. Use heat or ice to calm sore areas. Healthy posture and body movements can also help prevent extra pain and may help you do your activities with less pain. If you continue to struggle through a task, talk to your physical or occupational therapist to strategize other ways to get it done with less pain. Print Version |
